SPRING BREAK 2009

In Reno they have a warehouse full of jump toys. The place is called Jump Man Jump. The boys had a blast there. We met a few friends and played for a few hours. Good times!

Sophie and Nolan loved going down the free fall slide.

Cody cruising down.

Dylan was able to play in the ball pit.
He liked tossing the balls outside of the play area.

Nate and I took the boys out to dinner for Nolan's birthday. He chose Texas Roadhouse. They had him saddle up and everyone around gave Nolan a Yeeeeee-Haaaaw! He was so embarrassed. We threatened him that if he didn't get on it he couldn't ride his dirt bike that week.

Our Little Easter

So I better post this soon before we leave the month of Easter. We had a quiet day. Chet and Stacy came over and had dinner with us. We had the nice dinner, but just like my sister-in-law, I miss the Munns Easter gatherings up on the hill. Maybe the four of us can carry that tradition on next year. So believe it or not, this was the first year my kids have dyed eggs. Boy, I am so boring. They had a good time and maybe we will do it again next year.

Their finished products!

The boys loved hunting the eggs outside. It was obviously warm enough from the looks of Cody! After we hid the eggs a dozen different times, they wanted to hide the eggs for us adults.
Boy, did we get some funny looks when cars drove by. It was a lot of fun.

Cute Baby!

Our little family of boys! As Nolan and Cody always tell me...Mom, you're boy trapped!

Chet, Stacy and their baby.......Gus! I am so happy they live out here!!!

Little Gustopher and Dylan. Gus sure liked the eggs!

The Day of Nolan's Birthday

So the morning started off with Nate going on a controlled burn. I got up and made Nolan his favorite breakfast which is, Danish Hotcakes. After that we headed to the house fire. We got there a bit late, but oh well. At least we got to see some flamage. Afterward, Nolan and Cody headed to their friends birthday party. Once they got home they headed out to ride the dirt bike. That evening we had manicotti, which that's what I thought Nolan had explained to me, until I pulled it out of the oven......he meant fettuccine alfredo! All the time I spent prepping it..aahhh! I hope he had a good birthday with his family. Next year he can have a party with his friends.

Nate said he will fight fire on the ground. The ladder is a bit shaky.

This is what Cody gave him.... a Webkinz, Dr. Pepper, and fruit by the foot.

Party on Wayne!

Nolan was shocked that he got Heely's. Now he just needs lots of practice ; )

HAPPY BIRTHDAY NOLAN!!!!

So our first born turned 8 last Saturday! Wow, the years have flown by! Nolan is such a terrific kid. He is such a hard worker. He always gets the giggles when he is trying to tell the truth (makes it hard for us to know if he really is telling the truth). He loves baseball, playing with his trucks, tractors, and hot wheels. He enjoys riding his dirt bike, riding Uncle Brooks wheelers, and doing anything physical outside. Most of the time he plays nice with Cody. He likes to read to Dylan. He also likes to play Rockband with his parents.....he is getting better at the guitar. He gets a kick out of doing something nice for us and then surprising us with it. It's sad to think that in ten years he will be 18. Is there any way to slow that down? Well, I thought I would share pictures of his birthday's past. It was fun to see how much he has grown. Enjoy!

#8 Not the best picture of him.....he doesn't like cake anymore so this year he asked for a rhubarb, and a chocolate peanut butter cream pie.

#7 Had to be a Broncos cake for Jon Elway.
I look like trash....very pregnant...no make up. SCARY!!!

#6 Aaarrr captain! Me first treasure cake!

#5 Rock on!!

#4 Nolan's first ice cream cake with fighter jets like his Grandpa flew!

#3 Nolan's birthday was on Easter this year so I chose this cake!

#1 And last but not least his first birthday. He has grown up way too fast. Tear, sniff.

Opening Ceremonies

Saturday was our Opening Ceremonies for our boys baseball season. This is Cody's first year, so he is playing T-Ball. He plays for the Dodgers and his Dad helps assist his team when he is not assisting with Nolan's team. Nate happily volunteered me as Cody's team mom. (Thanks babe!) Nolan is playing farm and he plays for the Phillies.

They love to play the game.

We couldn't leave this cute baby out of the picture.....one day you will play too!

Swing batter, batter, swing! Go Cody!

Nolan playing catcher.....tough kid! He also played 1st base and tagged a player out.
